Cookie Policy

Information about our use of cookies

Last updated: 13/10/2026

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. We keep our use of cookies to a minimum: we only use cookies that are strictly necessary for our website to work securely. We do not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, so we do not ask for your consent to cookies.

Cookies we set

  • CRAFT_CSRF_TOKEN protects our donation and application forms against forged submissions. It is deleted when you close your browser.
  • CraftSessionId keeps your session while you complete our online application form. It is deleted when you close your browser.

Cookies set by our payment and security providers

When you make a donation, the payment form uses trusted providers that set their own strictly necessary cookies. These are only set on the donation payment form.

  • __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid (Stripe) help prevent fraud when card payments are processed. They last up to 1 year and 30 minutes respectively.
  • _GRECAPTCHA (Google reCAPTCHA) protects the donation form from spam and automated abuse. It lasts up to 6 months.

Donations are processed by our donation platform, Donorfy, using Stripe. For more information, see the Stripe privacy policy, the Google privacy policy and the Donorfy privacy policy.

Fonts

Our website uses Adobe Fonts to display its typefaces. Adobe Fonts does not set cookies, but it does receive basic information about page requests, as described in the Adobe Fonts privacy notice.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, blocking them may stop our donation and application forms from working.
